Weather-Ready, Silver Backing Treatment
The unique nature of Scotch® Weather Resistant Masking Tape 225 is its silver-backing treatment which provides UV resistance and allows for clean removal from outdoor surfaces for up to one month. This weather-resistant masking tape features a rubber adhesive that sticks instantly to most surfaces. This adhesive also offers good holding power that resists lifting and curling. In addition, Scotch® Weather Resistant Masking Tape 225 is solvent and moisture resistant, preventing bleed through during application. We constructed this tape with a medium-weight crepe paper backing for good paint lines. This masking tape is saturated for conformability and has an easy-to-tear design for simple application.
