Our Scotch® Tear Strip Tape 8624 is a high-strength, blue polypropylene reinforced tear strip tape with a synthetic rubber adhesive. We designed this tear strip for the easy opening of packages, simply grab and pull the exposed tab. The reinforced polypropylene tears through Paperboard and light to heavy-weight fiberboard with high pull-rate success.

Tough Tape Offers Easy Opening
Offering high-strength and a high pull-rate, Scotch® Tear Strip Tape 8624 is a blue, polypropylene reinforced tear strip tape with a synthetic rubber resin adhesive. This tape tears through light to heavy-weight Paperboard and corrugated fiberboard with high pull-rate success. The synthetic rubber adhesive produces good shear strength for demanding, single-wall, corrugated tear strip applications. Scotch® Tear Strip Tape 8624 eliminates the need for knives or other sharp edges used to open envelopes and panels.
